“Prod. by Snakehips” is not a tagline you often see, but it is the case here, with the London based duo’s latest, and completely unexpected, collaboration with up-and-coming Toronto rapper Tory Lanez. The song (which was produced in just one night) is part of a original series called Songs From Scratch, which is brought to you by Yours Truly and Adidas Originals. Snakehips teed it up for Tory, laying a snare and 808 fueled beat down that both flows smoothly and hits hard. Tory unsurprisingly comes out swinging with his signature sing-song style, flawlessly transitioning between his smooth croons and bars. I have no doubts about his claim to have, “them Spanish b*tches yelin’ dìmelo.” I’m yelling dìmelo and I have no clue what that means. Check the video documentary of their collaboration here.
