New this week on SectionZ Records, Sneo presents the sequel to his Contact EP, Terra. Sneo is an LA-based producer who takes influence from blockbuster movie soundtracks, and combines it with bass music, releasing gorgeous, cinematic sounding EPs that seek to tell a story through sound. Contact took listeners to a world where humanity used space travel to make first contact with an alien race, and Terra picks up where its predecessor left off, with humans exploring an alien world for the first time.
This EP is nothing short of incredible, with a level of depth and beauty that is rarely seen in the realm of bass music. Sneo is a master of both music theory and sound design, and as a result, everything he puts out is spectacular. There are going to be at least 2 or 3 more EPs continuing the story that Contact started, and I, for one, can’t wait to hear more.
