Jack Ü -i.e. Skrillex and Diplo– broke onto the scene in a whirlwind of excitement; with their debut performance at Ultra back in march and their debut hit “Take Ü There”, they have definitely taken the dance community by storm. But apart from that debut single and a leaked demo of their next track “To Ü”, which features AlunaGeorge, there has been very little in the way of music from the duo.
That is until today. As promoted on Skrillex’s store, every purchase received a free VIP mashup of Andy C’s “Get Free” remix and the acapella of Benny Benassi’s “Cinema”. The duo teased on triple J that there would be some new Jack Ü material before NYE, and I expect this is what they were hinting at.
Personally I feel that What So Not’s “Get Free” remix would have fit their style better, nevertheless this is great mashup. Take a listen below and go grab a free copy.
