Wisdom from the purest heart… Nah, instead we got some seriously sick bars from a few of the illest emcees in the game. Talib Kweli has been one of my favorite rappers since I first heard of him back in ’07. Not only is he a legendary rhymesayer, activist and philanthropist but on this track he’s a fucking animal!
Kweli goes in and shoots off some of the sharpest lyrics cutting into the egos of any wannabe rappers thinking they can spit. Next up is Chris Webby who supplies the second verse with some grimy lyrics complete with proper punchlines and a flow that doesn’t quit. Joell Ortiz (of the rap super-group Slaughterhouse) closes the joint out as he chops the beat up with an insanely dope verse that seems like it’s over way to fast. This track slaps so fucking hard it’s ridiculous. Now put one up and prepare to have this on repeat for a grip!
