With the release of his breakout remix of Notorious B.I.G.’s Juicy, rising Canadian producer David Youssef aka Shèmce quickly started to gain recognition. Since then he has released one original track, SVMMER, and now Shèmce is back in hardly any time with another deep, warm, summery-vibe tune with his remix of Teenage Crime by Adrian Lux. Everybody loves the original so it’s always fun to hear what artists can do with it!
Shèmce creates a beautiful mesh between deep house and nu-disco with some funky guitar riffs and smooth bassline that will have you groovin’ in no time. Sometimes I get to thinking about this whole tropical house realm and how it’s mostly going to be played in the summer seasons, right? Well, Schème does a great job of bringing live instrumentation into this tropical house sound and making it more of a dance tune that I feel can be played year round.
