Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy” has been getting the remix treatment in a big way this year, but none stands out from the crowd more than Vonzie’s edit.
Iggy’s poppy vocals pave the track to an explosive drop: Earth shaking sub bass, eerie big room plucks and just the right amount of trap hit hats to round out a fierce, dynamic sound. The drop has an almost somber quality, as the precise mastering of all the instruments creates a sound that feels incredibly distinct among a sea of lesser big room tracks.
In this day and age of big room house, it can be hard to find something that truly stands out in a genre that at times can feel played out. Vonzie injects some life back into the big room game with this remix that’s sure to be a huge hit at festivals this summer.
