Rocket Pimp Absolutely Demolishes With His “Red Mist EP”

Blending the styles of trance with insane face-crushing complextro, Mike Stonebank A.K.A Rocket Pimp creates some of the best electro tracks I’ve heard in a long time. Energetic, dynamic and absolutely club-stomping, this artist carefully crafts some of the best bass music out there.

The main track off the EP, “Red Mist“, commences with an ethereal out-of-this-world vibe that sets the tone for the track. Rocket Pimp doesn’t waste any time here though, dropping the bass not even thirty seconds into the song, with astonishing sound design and high energy that is sure to drive crowds wild. It then flows into a beautiful trance breakdown which once again picks up the energetic level, to a mind blowing drop that has so much going on, but at the same time is composed so well that every sound fits perfectly in it’s place. This song could very well be considered the definition of complextro.

“Dying Inside” is the second track featured on this Big Fish Recordings release and includes gorgeous vocals from Marie L. Combining these with Rocket Pimp’s trancy instrumental make you crave more and more, leaving you in a state of euphoria until the drop hits you straight on with an ingenious mix of complextro and big room.

If you haven’t checked this artist’s music yet, which is supported by some of the biggest names in the music industry today, then you should definitely do so. Especially if you are a basshead. There is no doubt that when you do, Rocket Pimp will have you “dying inside” waiting for some new music.
