If you haven’t heard about Apashe and the rest of the Kannibalen Records crew, you should start right here, because these guys are one of the most consistently filthy music collectives that is currently active. Apashe, a Montrealite with a particular penchant for sound design, is one of their mainstays who is constantly dropping straight fire. This week, he released an EP of very solid remixes of his tracks ‘Battle Royale’ and ‘Black Gold,’ as well as a VIP of his own for ‘Battle Royale,’ along with a video. The video is very cool, and features Apashe and rapper Panther, who is featured on the track, playing chess in an abandoned warehouse. Check it out here, as well as the rest of the EP below:
