Jumping from Monstercat to Trice Recordings and now Spinnin’ Records, Vicetone, finally have a statement record release on one of dance musics’ most popular distributors. Not even a year ago was there any sort of major buzz around the Dutch duo until after racking up 100,000 likes on their fan page, having released a select number of free remixes and finally being recognized by one of the worlds top fastest rising DJs at the time, Nicky Romero.
From countless time consumed in the studio, the struggle to gain traffic through social media outlets, switching through different managements, to finally getting recognized by someone who can feel the exact energy of their tracks, all in which to reach this certain success point in a DJ career, Vicetone, has been through it (and not stopping anytime soon). “Lowdown” is out now via Spinnin’ Records.
