Hello LA! I’m happy to announce starting this week TSS will have a discount list for CONTROL Fridays at Avalon Hollywood. We are really happy to start this adventure with CONTROL, Whitelite productions, and GIANT Club to offer our readers the chance to sign up for discount tickets to every CONTROL show. What does this mean? When signing up, you get anywhere from $4-$6 off your ticket when arriving before 11PM. All you have to do is sign up by sending names to be placed on discount list to jessika@thissongslaps.com before 4 PM on 2/7, await confirmation email, and arrive in the discount ticket line, say you’ve signed up under This Song Slaps and “Wa-la,” be directed to where you can pay for your discount ticket.
As someone who lives in Los Angeles, Avalon is a great spot for friday nights. CONTROL Fridays – run by Ryan Jaso and Whiiite -have put on so many great shows that I will personally remember for a lifetime. I know it sounds corny, but seriously- this venue is comfortable, the people who work there are both friendly as well as helpful, and the atmosphere is pure happiness. Some shows I’ve attended are Whiiite, 12th planet, Dada Life, AC Slater, Flosstradamus, TJR, Krewella, UZ, Carnage, Protohype, Skrillex, DJ Snake, Kill Paris, GTA, Crookers, Bro Safari, CRNKN, ETC!ETC!, Paper Diamond, Angger Dimas, Ookay, Kennedy Jones, Chris Lake, and so many more that I know I’m forgetting, but that’s just how many amazing DJs I’ve seen play there. One visit and CONTROL will become your home for Friday nights like it has mine. Best part is, this discount is open to anyone in town and wants to join the fam!
