Back in November, Eliie Goulding let the news slip that she has a collaboration in the works with her ex-boyfriend Sonny Moore, aka Skrillex, during a brief interview at the MTV EMAs. This hint of news set the internet into a frenzy as one of the most innovative and well-known producers and one of the most beautiful voices in music were going to be on the same track.
We finally got our hands on this highly anticipated collaboration titled “Because” as Ellie put together a 41-minute “Goodnight Valentine” mix for Annie Mac’s show on BBC Radio 1 full of mellow hip-hop, r&b and electronica.
I wasn’t aware that Ellie Goulding had some DJ skills up her sleeve and could put together her own mixes, but that’s awesome news.
