Deathcab. Oh where to begin. Collin really takes to new heights. The growth and development of his musical talents is over reaching any aptitude I had ever set for him. Proud of what he has accomplished in such a short time and I think everyone here at TSS would agree Collin has a big future in front of him.
He has established himself with these impressive uplifting dubstep records while also collaborating across multiple genres of the electronic scene. Collin had a couple of words to say about this remix:
“Transatlanticism,” has always been my favorite song by the group. I can remember playing the song on my CD player at home when I was young, wondering how they were able to craft such a sonic landscape that continued to build and evolve throughout the track. It is a beautiful piece of art, and one that still impacts me when I hear it to this day.
After my move from NYC to LA, I decided to take a stab at reworking this classic song. I opted to re sing the vocals myself, and altered the production to suit my more melodic bass style.”
