Wilks continues to carve out his own unique sound (dubbed “G House” / a mix of deep house, tech house, and hip hop influences) with this one, and it doesn’t disappoint in the slightest.
The subterranean basslines, shadowy but glowing house chords, and hip hop vocal samples of a standard Wilks production are all present, but he takes it even further with this new one. The talented producer utilizes an incredibly tasteful horn section and some choice samples from “Ain’t Nothin’ But A G Thang” to craft one of his best tracks to date.
