Shame on me for not posting Au5 & Fractal’s EP a couple weeks ago as my life was getting crushed with finals, but hopefully now I can make up for it by paying homage to the only other 20 something year old in this dance scene, Austin Motherf*cking Collins. As he combines some sort of psy-trancey arpeggiated melodies along with the signature flat out crazy a$$ laser bass growls with neatly layered dubby snares and of course topped off with Collin McLoughlin’s graceful voice.
Oh, and let’s not forget about Collin McLoughlin. Last time I saw this guy was on national T.V. on the show “The Voice”, and when I saw him I told my mom “see that guy, he did YouTube covers of popular mainstream dance tracks and got posted on a bunch of blogs – now look where he is.” So, always remember to never under estimate the power of social media.
