Something very special Ashley Wallbridge has been keeping on his desktop for quite sometime (as well as myself since I’m just now posting this). The all-time classic of our generation, Rank 1 – ‘Airwave’, will never suffice any electronic music lovers ears especially with this godly unofficial bootleg edit that could easily be considered a 2k13 mix of the original song.
I love this song just as much as any other corny trance lover that you may think me out to be – but just know, back in the day before “EDM” became a thing with generic piano riffs and poppy vocals, there was a time when electronic music had zero lyrics. True classic melodic chords and rolling funky basslines are what brought true emotion and vibe to whatever setting it was being played in. Why? It’s because you were in control of the music and you decided what type of personal journey you wanted to take yourself upon and get lost in. Unlike now, where each performing act has to let you know when to jump or put your hands up. Some of you may still not understand, you’re just going to have to experience it yourself and let the music speak.
