Show Review: Flux Pavilion – Worcester, MA. May 31st, 2013.

Friday, May 31st, UK dubstep legend Flux Pavilion blew the roof off the Palladium in Worcester, MA when he stopped there on his Spring “Blow The Roof” tour. The show started at 8 P.M. and it was went until 1:30 A.M. As soon as I arrived to the venue, I noticed the ridiculously long line for will call. Luckily, thanks to Steez Promo and Bass Nation New England, they put me on the list to review the show. As soon as I entered the venue I was not surprised that it was jam packed. Flux Pavilion, along with local favorites Mike Skillz, DJ Wubson, and Big I.C. DJ Wubson was a personal favorite of mine. Everyone in the place was dancing to the constant banger’s the opener’s were throwing down. The cool thing about the Palladium is that it is split into a floor area, and then there is a bar section and a lounge. Wherever you decide to go, your not far from the stage. As soon as it struck midnight, Flux Pavilion came out. This was the moment everyone was waiting for. I saw Flux’s earlier “Blow The Roof” tour when it stopped at Fete Nightclub in Providence in March of earlier this year. I also saw him when he played at Electric Zoo 2012 with Doctor P. Just like he did in his Providence show, at the Palladium he opened with “The Scientist” off his newest EP “Blow The Roof”. At this point I was up front experiencing the show in a new light. The bass made the venue shake, there is nothing quite comparative to it. The energy that was flowing through everyone was absolutely incredible and had to of been experienced first hand to realize the pure power music has on people. I didn’t think the audience could get any more hyped up until he dropped “Come Find Me”, his new collab. with Cookie Monsta. Flux’s set lasted about an hour and a half. The time had come for the final song and I knew what it had to be. The past three times I saw Flux, he dropped “Gold Dust” at the end. I stood there overjoyed as Flux Pavilion, for the last song of the night, dropped “Gold Dust”, one of my favorite song’s Flux has ever touched. No matter where he goes, Flux Pavilion is guaranteed to throw the fuck down! If Flux Pavilion is coming to a venue near you, I would highly suggest you go and support one our of favorite producer’s in the game! I would like to thank Steez Promo and Bass Nation New England for allowing me this opportunity to cover the show and share with you guys my incredible experience I had.
