What up slappers? My name’s Christos and this is my first post, so I figure I should give you a little background on who I am and what I’m about. I’m 19 years old and currently a sophomore at Bucknell University hailing from New Jersey. I come from a very convoluted musical background, which started with picking up guitar and bass about 9 years ago with a taste for classic rock and punk, and then moving towards jazz and reggae and finally glitch hop and dubstep. Somewhere in the middle of all that, I also picked up the double bass and piano, and more importantly, started producing electronic music of various kinds under the name Operator. This eclectic background gives me a somewhat unusual sense of musical taste, which I hope to share with you as a contributor on this awesome blog. Anyway, enough about me, on to the music. This tasty remix comes from Colorado native Omega, who has been producing all kinds of energetic electronic music for the last decade or so. This track blends Natalia Kills’ rather sensual vocals from ‘Mirrors’ with a huge filthy bassline that shakes the listener to their very core. From its entrancing synth-lead intro to the last echoes of the fade out, this track has a distinct vibe that could very easily destroy a dancefloor or accentuate a midnight cruise through the city. Kick back, turn up your speakers, and enjoy!
