What’s up Friday! I’ve got a sick hip hop track for everyone today. Ya Boy aka William Crawford is a hip hop artist coming from the Fillmore District of San Francisco. I grew up in the Bay Area and I’ve been listening to Ya Boy since his first mixtape ‘Rookie Of The Year’ dropped in 2005. He’s put out a TON of sick mixtapes since then and you can download them all for free on DatPiff.com right here! I’d say my favorite two mixtapes from him are The Fix 2 & Mowhawks & Heavy Metal so download those if you want to grab some new hip hop. Recently, Ya Boy signed to Akon’s record label Konvict Music and stopped putting out music for awhile but now I know that it was because he’s been working on his upcoming album, Kalifornia Konvict. This is the first leak off the new album called ‘Get Her High’ featuring Wiz Khalifa. ‘Get Her High’ has a really laid back beat with some sick lyrics coming from both artists.
