MGMT – Congratulations (Erol Alkan Rework): Upbeat Electronic Remix
BEN

Erol Alkan is a London-based Turkish electro DJ. In 2010 he was acclaimed to be the best DJ in the world for 2009, according to TOP Magazine. Erol Alkan is one of the most talented musicians around. Some say that he’s the one who invented the mashup with his series of carefully crafted releases. This is an awesome Erol Alkan reworked track of MGMT’s song Congratulations. The original song from MGMT is really slow but Erol Alkan added an upbeat electronic beat and gave it a feel-good vibe. The lyrics from MGMT in this song blend with Erol Elkan’s electronic beat to produce a really cool sounding remix. I’m starting to have a lot more respect for older remixed tracks like Whole-Z’s remix of Edward Sharpe’s song Home. Sit back, turn your speakers up, and enjoy this new rework!
