After garnering HUGE amounts of buzz and praise from the likes of Complex Magazine, Noisey, Vice Magazine and others; Top Floor Music Group’s Kidd Upstairs & X.O. deliver the OFFICIAL music video for their hit single Amanda Bynes. I’m gonna come clean this record is fire and deserves all the acclaim it’s been getting, hard work is definitely paying off for Kidd and XO as they have yet ANOTHER hit under their belt. The official music video, directed by Derek Hurd, matches the the quality and craftsmanship of the track with shots of Kidd Upstairs and X.O. as well as old video clips covering the rise and fall of the childhood star which the song is named after. X.O. told me that if the world didn’t come to an end a few days ago, then he would give us a dope hip-hop track to party to over the holidays. Well, X doesn’t disappoint with his latest visual offering from the Check Please Vol. 3 hit ‘Get Live’ by representing the west coast laid-back party vibe that we can all relate to. X also let me know that he has been working relentlessly on TWO solo projects, as well as a collaborative venture with our friend and fellow Star Rock affiliate Kidd Upstairs. We’re excited about this next announcement; X.O will be dropping the Mr. Porfavorian EP exclusively on TSS on 1.4.13. I’ve been in the studio with him and had the chance to listen to a couple snippets. Trust me, it’s well the worth the wait.

After a long delay, X.O. drops the long-awaited visual for ‘Orange Soda’ from Check Please Vol. 3. Shot in Santa Monica, Venice Beach and San Diego, this video is ill from start to finish with appearances from the homie Kidd Upstairs, the 54th Platoon, and the StarRock crew. RockstarMuzik has been indeed doing work this year, salute to them.
