I have been posting lots of J Cole lately because if you don’t know, I want you to realize that he is one of the most dopest ‘lyrical’ MC’s in the rap game. During his NYC promo run for his latest album, Born Sinner, which hit shelves and iTunes today, J Cole stopped by Hot97 radio station to spit some bars for Funkmaster Flex. If you aren’t in the know, Funkmaster Flex holds the primetime slot for at the top radio station in the country, so when Cole decided to give the world a few new freestyles on the spot he went hard! Over classic instrumentals from Wu-Tang, Capone-N-Noreaga and LL Cool J, Cole showed the masses that he is the illest doing it. Cole also sent out a warning to other MC’s telling them to bring their A-game if they wanted to freestyle on the show after him. PROPS to J Cole for calling out other MC’s for their weak freestyle skills, that was much needed. Check out the three freestyles below and go out and purchase Born Sinner, available now.

Freestyle over Wu-Tang Clan’s ‘Wu Tang Clan Ain’t Nothing To F With

Freestyle over Capone-N-Noreaga’s ‘Blood Money

Freestyle over LL Cool J’s ‘Ill Bomb

Juicy J has had one of the most impressive career revitalizations that I’ve ever seen. Since 2011 Juicy has been hitting us with nothing but bangers. His smash hits; Bands A Make Her Dance, Show Out, and One of Those Nights have been in rotation in clubs and radios everywhere and now we have another one to add to the list. Juicy J dials up Wale and Trey Songs to come together on this new record, Bounce It. This is definitely more fire to hold you over until his upcoming album hits shelves. Does Juicy J have a bigger hit than ‘Bands A Make Her Dance’ here? You decide. Stream and download below.

Los Angeles rapper Problem has been one of the most buzzed about artists coming out of the California that’s not in the Black Hippy camp. You may have heard his HIT single ‘Like What’ blaring out of speakers everywhere since it was released last August, as well as his frequent collaborations with Wiz Khalifa and IAMSU!. Yesterday, Problem, released his long-awaited Gangsta Grillz mixtape, The Separation, hosted by DJ Drama. If you’re not familiar with what the sound of the West Coast right now, this mixtape will bring you up to speed. The League of Stars handles most of the production on this banging mixtape, and expect features from T.I., Wale, Snoop Dogg, The Game and more. The Separation is 21-tracks of fire. Stream and download below.

Major props to Fools Gold Records on being the brain behind this awesome duo of El-P and Killer Mike. Under the name, Run The Jewels, the duo drop yet another BANGER from their upcoming album releasing for free on June 26th. 36″ Chains is a dubstep infused track that really shows the versatility of both members of Run The Jewels. The way El-P and Killer Mike crush this track really foreshadows how dope it would be if Hip-Hop and EDM’s sounds were infused even more. Take notes Waka Flocka, this is how EDM hip-hop is supposed to sound. Stream and download ’36″ Chain’ below. Check out Run The Jewels in your city, they’re on tour throughout the summer, cities and dates below.

Pusha T warned us he was dropping the single from his upcoming album My Name Is My Name today. Just a few minutes go he gave NYC’s Hot97 radio legend Funkmaster Flex the green light to premier this banger, Who I Am. The Million $ Mano and Kanye West produced track takes a few cues from an ESG’s classic. Pusha T, 2 Chainz and Big Sean murder this record, this is gonna be a HIT in the clubs and trunks everywhere. Pusha is not playing, My Name Is My Name coming soon.

Long Beach’s Vince Staples links up with Ab-Soul on this new track, Killin’ Y’all. ‘Killin Y’all’ is the second leak from Vince’s upcoming mixtape, Stolen Youth, entirely produced by Larry Fisherman aka Mac Miller. I’ve been on Vince Staples for a while now, and everything I heard has been more than impressive, he’s definitely one you wanna be on the lookout for. Co-Signs from TDE, A$AP Mob and Odd Future can’t be wrong, Vince is an incredible rapper. Stream below and make sure you go cop Vince Staples’ Stolen Youth when it releases next week.

The other night during Game 3 of the San Antonio/Miami Heat NBA Playoff Series, Curren$y sent out a series of tweets alluding to a new unreleased track that features Gold Gang’s Trinidad Jame$. After the Spurs won Game 3, a few minutes latery, Curren$y kept his word and released this unheard collaboration, Killers. Curren$y is another artist that keeps a supply of new music flooding the internet. This track isn’t bad at all. Stream and download below.

Brooklyn’s Joey Badass unfortunately had to push his upcoming project, Summer Knights, back until July 1st. To make up for the minor letdown, Joey releases this brand new banger ’95 Til Infinity’. Produced by Lee Bannon, if this track combined with Joey Badass’ vicious vintage flow doesn’t take you back to the golden era of Hip-Hop i’m not sure what will. I love the fact that Joey Badass and the entire PRO ERA constantly supply us with new tracks, we never have to wait too long for more dope rhymes. Today also marks the 1-year anniversary of Joey’s ’1999′ mixtape, the classic project that launched him into the spotlight amongst the best of the best MC’s. Joey Badass will definitely have his name carved in Hip-Hop history before everything is all over and done with.
