G.O.O.D. Music’s president Kanye West sent the internet into frenzy with one single tweet sent out last Thursday that simple read “June Eighteen.” These two simple words snowballed into a ton of rumors and we’re getting closer and closer to confirming that this day will in fact be the official release date of Kanye’s 6th solo album.
Rolling Stone Magazine has now reported that Kanye West has been working with Daft Punk and Skrillex to produce at least three songs on his forthcoming album alongside several other hip-hop artists such as 2 Chainz, John Legend and Odd Future. Other sources are saying that Chief Keef and Travi$ Scott have recently traveled to Paris and are rumored to have possibly worked on the new album as well.
“It was very raw,” Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter explained after a recent studio session with Kanye West. “He was rapping – kind of screaming primally.”
Details about this upcoming release are hard to come by. “You know I’m not going to tell you anything about that crazy-ass boy,” explained 2 Chainz. “Just know that Mr. West has some dope [music] on the way.”
Needless to say, we’re in for a real treat on June eighteen.

Pusha T has been getting BUSY lately, after serving up his stellar Wrath of Caine mixtape this past January, his Coachella performance, and currently hopping from city to city for their ‘The Life Is So Exciting’ tour with fellow MC Fabolous, one would think the Virginia MC would be too busy to drop some new heat. Pusha makes sure we know that’s clearly not the case; after watching his big homie Hov shake the world up with ‘Open Letter’ he decides to drop this Don Cannon and Kanye West produced BANGER, ‘Numbers On The Boards’. Pusha T continues the lyrical assault he’s been on since as far as I can remember over this very abstract production featuring a sample from Jay-Z’s ‘Rhyme No More’, this track is bananas. G.O.O.D. This track is INSANE. Shorty after posting ‘R U Ready’ on their Soundcloud account, producers Hudson Mohawke (Hudmo, for short) and Lunice we’re contacted by none other than Kanye West, which resulted in Yeezy buying the production and using it for his performance at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, as well as signing HudMo to his G.O.O.D. Music label. Seemingly out of no where, the CDQ version got liberated this afternoon for our listening pleasure. OMFG I’m gonna have this on repeat the whole day, after pressing ‘Play’, I have no doubt in my mind you will as well. Crank the volume to maximum and enjoy!

With Kendrick Lamar’s debut album, good kid, m.A.A.d city being one of the best, if not the best album released this year, it was only a matter of time before the remixes started rolling in. I’ve heard a few decent attempts thus far , and one worth sharing is Bird Peterson’s trap take to Kendrick’s ‘Swimming Pools’. Bird is a Texas-based producer signed with Mad Decent, who also has a pretty dope ‘Clique’ remix that is included below as well. Check both and enjoy!
