Tons of buzz has been going around about the S.O.P.A Act (Stop Online Piracy Act) which expands the ability of U.S. law enforcement to fight online trafficking in copyrighted intellectual property and counterfeit goods. This act would hurt tons of websites around the world, like TSS, who have worked hard to showcase artists’ productions (pictures, movies, music) to fans around the world. Without these sites, artists would receive a huge negative impact in the way they gain exponential exposure to potential fans around the world. Canadian dubstep producer Arion decided to make a song titled ‘Internet Rebellion (F**k S.O.P.A.)’ to express his frustration towards this act. Hopefully this will make everyone realize what this act will do to the world wide web if passed. Pay close attention, turn up your speakers, and enjoy!
