Disclosure’s debut album Settle was released just a week ago, and the UK producer duo consisting of brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence have already staked a firm claim in the electronic music realm abroad. Now that their delicious, deep house-tinged tracks are rapidly rising in popularity, it is fair to say that it’s open season in the remix world. Australian producer Flume has added his trademark future bass flavor and a distinct orchestral taste to this incredible Disclosure track, featuring epic vocals courtesy of Eliza Doolittle. He utilizes the perfect mix of floaty synths and subtle, pulsing beats to make this song a true Flume incarnation. Thump the stream of this new one below and fall in love with the sounds of Disclosure in a whole new way.
Willy Joy, one of the hottest up and comers in the EDM scene right now asked me to do an exclusive premiere on this one and after listening to it the first time I couldn’t wait to drop it. The song perfectly combines an aggressive trap style with a melodic side that really provides the song with depth and keeps the listener constantly on their toes. The breakdown even samples an old Spice Girls interview, so you know this one is gonna get eaten up by the female crowd (hence the name, I suppose). Go grab this one for free over on Facebook and show Willy Joy some support, dude has been and will continue to drop some of the hottest joints in the scene, and they’re almost always free. Hard to beat that!
P.S. If you didn’t grab his past collabs with Team Bayside High and Tittsworth, go do so right now. Straight fire!

New heater collab from Pyramid Juke & the one and only Ookay just dropped, and I sincerely hope you have a good sub to pump this one through. In true Ookay fashion there is an epic shit ton of that 808 bass we’ve all come to love, and paired with the juke style of Pyramid Juke (go figure, it’s in their name), this track goes IN. Now I know all my trap people are quite familiar with Oookay at this point, but a lot of people still aren’t familiar with Pyramid Juke who have been combining juke with trap in an incredible way for quite awhile now. You may have heard their remix of gLAdiator and Loudpvck’s ‘Scaley’ which is still part of my regular rotation, and these guys never fail to impress. Grab this one for free and support these guys!

Some of y’all may have heard ‘Assquake’ on Floss’s ‘Banned 2′ mixtape, but the hoodie boyz just dropped this one as a higher quality free download over on their soundcloud as a way of thanking their 100,000 fans. True to their OG form, this one is another trap banger from some of the originators of the trap game, and having heard this joint played out last week I can assure you it’s definitely one of those tunes you need to hear on a loud ass bass heavy system to get the full effect (twerking also recommended). Go grab this 808 slapper for free on Flosstradamus’s Facebook and make the ground shake, that’s an assquake!

Chitown bass music duo Team Bayside High are back at it again with another floor smasher. The team, whom you may know from their slappin remixes of artists such as Biggie, C&C Music Factory, The Postal Service and Pantera come through with a huge original mix this time around. The track, ‘Gold Heart’, features thumping 808’s and tight procession that gives it that turnt up feel that is sure to destroy the club. Combine that with the sick vocal cutting, a dirty bass line and sick synth slides and you have a grade A banger. Catch these dudes playing a not-to-be-missed show ‘Bass Kitchen’ next Friday in Chicago with our friends Candyland and gLAdiator if you’re in the area, and be on the lookout for more originals and remixes from these rising stars!

Two of bass musics biggest up and comers, Team Bayside High and Willy Joy have just dropped an epic collaboration bootleg. Taking the long time festival anthem “Where’s Your Head At” by Bassment Jaxx, these masterminds have crafted a filthy dubstep/trap bootleg that will knock your socks off. I’ve been hearing the original tune in progressive house sets at festivals for years now, and this bootleg gives this classic a refreshing new twist. There are some songs that jut won’t ever go away, and thanks to Team Bayside High and Willy Joy, the lifespan of this festival staple has just been extended even further.
The songs starts off quick with a lot of aggressive energy and then drops into some filthy dubby bass for the first bit before swapping over to a good old trap bassline. This song is definitely one to get people pumped, and is a perfect peak time bomb for sets that I’m sure will get some play time in festivals all summer. Go give these dudes some support and be on the lookout for more bangers from both Team Bayside High and Willy Joy, as we have just begun scraping the surface of what these guys are capable of.
