Disclosure’s debut album Settle was released just a week ago, and the UK producer duo consisting of brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence have already staked a firm claim in the electronic music realm abroad. Now that their delicious, deep house-tinged tracks are rapidly rising in popularity, it is fair to say that it’s open season in the remix world. Australian producer Flume has added his trademark future bass flavor and a distinct orchestral taste to this incredible Disclosure track, featuring epic vocals courtesy of Eliza Doolittle. Two of bass musics biggest up and comers, Team Bayside High and Willy Joy have just dropped an epic collaboration bootleg. Taking the long time festival anthem “Where’s Your Head At” by Bassment Jaxx, these masterminds have crafted a filthy dubstep/trap bootleg that will knock your socks off. I’ve been hearing the original tune in progressive house sets at festivals for years now, and this bootleg gives this classic a refreshing new twist. There are some songs that jut won’t ever go away, and thanks to Team Bayside High and Willy Joy, the lifespan of this festival staple has just been extended even further.
The songs starts off quick with a lot of aggressive energy and then drops into some filthy dubby bass for the first bit before swapping over to a good old trap bassline. This song is definitely one to get people pumped, and is a perfect peak time bomb for sets that I’m sure will get some play time in festivals all summer.
