The Chicago duo decided to release this killer bootleg of Chief Keef’s track ‘Hate Being Sober’ just before they drop it all over their hometown this weekend at Spring Awakening Music Festival. In class Team Bayside High style, they took Chief Keef’s hood joint and turned it into some festival trap gold. I first fell in love with the Trumpsta when I heard Djuro’s crazy electro remix, and now we have a dope trap version of it thanks to NYMZ. If you recognize the style of this tune, it’s probably because NYMZ is half of the crazy moombahton/trap group known as Milo and Otis. This Trumpsta remix is one that’s sure to get everyone hyped as it is a very aggressive trap banger that hits super heavily. Toronto duo DVBBS just got their track ‘We Are Electric’ the remix treatment from one of the electro scene’s biggest rising stars, Jay Cosmic. We previously posted Jay’s remixes of ‘Saturn’ by Kill the Noise as well as his ‘Clarity’ remix, and this one is another banger. He keeps the wavy vocals lent by Simon Wilcox and turns the track into a dictionary definition electro heater. I absolutely love Candyland. Just in time for their debut at Winter Music Classic in Miami, they have released this 3 song EP which includes an original track called “Rick Rollin” which is an OG Remix of the famous song “Never Gonna Give You Up” (hence the name Rick Rollin, after the famous YouTube fad) and two remixes of Timeflies’ song “Nothing at All” (one is a progressive house tune, while the other is a pretty filthy, dubstep track). The best part about all of this is that they have made this EP available to the masses for free! So make sure to peep that free download and show Candyland some love.

Bluestep is a signature Gramatik style genre clash. Lately I’ve been really into combining the vibes of raw 50′s and 60′s Blues with all kinds of EDM genres and one of the results is Bluestep. It’s a dynamic mixture of Blues and Dubstep, a plethora of screaming guitar, howling vocals and big bass, capturing the raw energies of both music worlds in a hopefully cohesive, possibly outrageous picture.
