Here we go! No better way to start a week than with a new Hardwell remix, especially of Krewella! There’s been a lot of buzz around this song and a lot of criticism too. People saying he remixed it too late or it’s not good blah blah blah. All that talk ends here. This is the best remix of Alive out there. Not only that, but it’s also the final one too. Hardwell takes the Krew sister’s beautiful vocals and turns their hit track into a massive Progressive House banger. Just an overall hard hitting tune that’s proven its worth at big stages and festivals. Make sure you go support it over on Beatport now!

It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost 7 months since Zedd’s debut album ‘Clarity’ took the EDM industry by storm, and Zedd’s certainly set the bar high for himself, but we know that he’s been spending the last 7 months on a hectic tour schedule while remembering to keep some time aside for productions somewhere along the way. Make sure to check out this preview for the remix dropping on May 21st!

So just as I thought Ricky was going to be on a hiatus for a while, he drops this one. If you follow Ricky Cervantes on Twitter, then you know that he is all too frustrated with mashups of Alive, and on one night posted an entire set of the same mashup, with the same samples, made by about twenty different artists. Anyway, as usual Ricky sets the bar higher than most others and rewinds thing back in time a little to match up Krewella’s popular vocals with some old school Daft Punk. Check out the track now!

As 50K week continues, we keep bringing the exclusives. This time we have another one from one of my personal favorites, Ennui. I know, I know “but everyone remixes Krewella” I get that. But what most people do is remix the dubstep portion and make it bass heavy and grimy. That’s not the case here, Ennui’s style is to emphasize on the beauty of songs. The bass and the filth are still there but its accompanied by a soothing feeling. I felt like I was floating above the clouds when I first heard this one. So enjoy another TSS exclusive and grab this one for free!

As a display of gratitude for reaching the milestone of 2,000 likes on Facebook, Hyperbits have sent us this massive remix of Krewella’s track, ‘Alive’. I’ve been hearing so much of this track lately whether it’s in a remix, a mashup, or a mix. Anyway, what I’m trying to say is that this rendition stands out a lot, and is a ‘peak of the set’ track, because the drop in this remix goes OFF. Enjoy this smash track and feel free to cop the download from their facebook to show some support!

Today, Krewella releases visuals for ‘Alive,’ a progressive house anthem from their debut EP, Play Hard, which was released on BeatPort last Monday. After capturing the #1 Release on Beatport last week and charting at #5 on Billboard’s “Next Big Sound”, the Krew is on a mission to share their EP with the world. While still keeping a solid footing in dubstep, the Chicago-based trio shows their music diversity with the release of this EP thanks to their evocative blend of powerful, vocals and smooth, yet heavy production. If you haven’t yet, be sure to pick up their Play Hard EP on BeatPort ASAP. Until then, kick back, turn up your speakers, and enjoy!
