With this track, Thomas Jack took what was already an insanely catchy song and makes it into a bouncy summer house jam. The backbeat compliments the sun-drenched flute lines and vocals really well, making this a perfect track for a sunny afternoon drive to the beach. If you're into deep house, you'll definitely dig this, so be sure to check it out. Enjoy! (more…)
If you're as excited for the upcoming Dog Blood release as we are, you've probably already heard 'Shred Sled.' It's a very heavy, very cool track with some metal influences, and you can't help but rage to it. Night Crime, a DJ duo from LA, has just dropped this bootleg edit, in which they tacked some big room-ish house drops onto both ends of the track, allowing DJs to mix into and out of the insane 140 drop smoothly during a house set. The result is pretty awesome and definitely worth a listen. Enjoy! (more…)
We're big fans of The M Machine here at TSS, and as of last week Digitalism's awesome remix of Moon Song is streaming. It's got a very cool, bouncy feel to it, and is yet another reason to look forward to the upcoming release of Metropolis Remixed. Enjoy! (more…)
If you're a fan of The Walking Dead like I am, you might vaguely recognize this track from an episode that featured it a while back. Regardless of whether you've heard the original, this is a fresh remix. The darkness and warmth of the original gives the track a type of energy you don't often hear in the world of house music, and the result is pretty cool. Definitely give it a listen, Jordan Postrel is one of the more interesting deep house producers and worth checking out. Enjoy! (more…)
Usually when I release my own music, I give it to one of the other authors to post to the site rather than do it myself, but today I have a favor to ask all of you guys. If you weren't aware, Dada Life is running a huge remix contest through wavo.me, and released the stems to every track off of their album The Rules of Dada. Right now, they're having the public vote on their favorites, and they are going to pick a winner out of the top 10 remixes for each track. I've actually wanted to remix Happy Violence since it first came out, so I was beyond stoked when I saw that this was happening. In their description for the contest, they stressed the idea that they wanted to hear some originality in these remixes, so I changed up the chord progression a little bit and wrote in some of my own melodies, hoping to give the song a new arrangement and a different vibe. Overall, I'm really proud of how it came out. Its got a chill trap vibe with a very different flavor from the original, and I have yet to hear another remix in the running that sounds anything like it. Anyway, I'm crazily passionate about this track and I really want to start a grass roots movement and take over this contest from the underground, which is why I need your help. You can stream and download the track from the player on this page, but more importantly, you can VOTE for the contest RIGHT HERE. TSS fam, you've been really good to me so far, and I really need your support if I'm gonna stand a chance in this one, so if you dig this track and you dig what I'm about as a producer, please take the time to give me a vote. There are a couple remixes in the top 10 that sound solid, but for the most part, they're just bland re-hashings of the original with Big Room and Electro House samples thrown in. Do you want to see that type of track win a contest like this? I know I don't. Thanks again for all the love you guys have shown me up to now, it means the world to me. Now get out there and vote! You can also check out my most recent track, Boundless, here. (more…)

Autosav3 is becoming a regular here on TSS. His brand of fresh, danceable house music never fails to engage, but also exists completely outside of the influence of the Beatport top 10 style of the minute, which is a huge plus. Recently, he has taken to utilizing talk box to bring old-school Daft Punk-style vocals to the table, which is awesome and adds a whole other dimension to the grooviness of his music. Both of these tracks are pretty unique, and really cool. Definitely be sure to stay in tune with what this guy has going on, as he is extremely talented. Enjoy! That's right, there's a DJ/Production trio named Black Tiger Sex Machine. Everyone else in the EDM world is kicking themselves for not having thought of it first. These guys are AWESOME, and this mix manages to go really hard while still being dynamic and interesting, and full of tracks you've probably never heard. One of the guys in the group runs Kannibalen Records, which is an awesome label whose releases have been on the site recently (Exhibit A and Exhibit B), and a ton more of their tracks are featured in this mix. BTSM is definitely a group to keep on your radar, as everything I've heard from them so far is rock solid. Enjoy! (more…)
This remix from Brass Knuckles has a really cool vibe to it. It's got a little bit of a chillstep element mixed with some trap flavor, and manages to bring a lot of energy to the table while still being pretty atmospheric. Definitely give it a listen, this guy's very talented. Enjoy! (more…)
F.O.O.L (Fuck Our Ordinary Lives) is an awesome Swedish producer that has produced all kinds of cool tracks. He has a taste for pretty trance-ish melodies that lead into heavy drops, which is something we at TSS have always been huge fans of. With this EP, mainly consisting of housey tracks, F.O.O.L proves yet again that he knows how to kill it. Every track on here is loaded with a heavy energy that brings the heat. Give it a listen, you'll be on your feet in no time. Enjoy!
