A few weeks ago, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Cole Beasley released his debut album called The Autobiography. It was a shock to football fans as he never made mentions that he could rap. He showed off his skills on his debut single 80 Stings and displayed a new side of him that is equally impressive as his NFL side. Not only that, but he doesn’t talk about getting money, chasing women and other junk that’s popular in today’s hip-hop. He talked about his past, his ambitions, his struggles being a white kid playing a position that isn’t dominated by guys like him. He shows the support his wife and others give him in his tracks My Baby and Day 1s. In his other song Stereotypes, he talks about how often he deals with being stereotyped because of his appearance. His rhythm and flow are superb; he shocked me by how crafty this dude is. Take a listen to his album, I promise you won’t regret it.
