“Bear With Me” – The Debut EP From Dreaddy Bear Is Next Level

“Bear With Me” – The Debut EP From Dreaddy Bear Is Next Level
Evan Walters

Nowadays a lot of bass music has a darker feel attached to it. Maybe not intentionally but there definitely is that undertone. I love people who aspire to be different, untraditional and just all around unique. Which leads me to Dreaddy Bear, a dude who is making waves and doing so in a divergent manner. Listening to his music and even just watching him progress as an artist makes me a happier person. A pivotal point as an artist is when you find your own sound. I’ve had this EP on repeat since it dropped yesterday and I think it’s safe to say, Dreaddy Bear is on to something!

The debut tape from the Richmond local dropped via Ebisu Sound and is titled Bear With Me. The EP features 5 tracks with guest appearances from Yogamuffin, Space Koi and Adventure Dog. I’d love to offer up a favorite but the EP as a whole is solid so I’ll leave that to you all. From playing the keys to laying his own vocals (check out the Space Koi collab, “No!”), this cat does it all. Anybody in the DMV should drop a like on his socials to make sure you don’t miss upcoming shows. Give it a listen below, show it to all of your homies and let us know what you think!
