Seven Lions Releases A Remix EP For His Song “Calling You Home” On His Label Ophelia Records
Alejandro Vega

Seven Lions decided he wanted a label to call his own where he can also release anything melodic or heavy that he likes to produce. The name is Ophelia Records and the first track that came out is his own called Calling You Home with RUNN on the vocals. Today he released 2 remixes for it by 2 different styles of producers, Direct and Oliver Smith.

Direct went a more chill approach with his Future Bass remix. It’s not the usual epic supersaw leads that were accustomed to hearing. It’s lush pads, plucks and a piano like lead. I like the fading arps he uses; reminds me of Blackmill. I usually don’t like pitched vocals as part of the lead but he does a very good job adding variation and not letting it be pitched too high.

Anjunabeats OG Oliver Smith played at ABGT250 along with SL. I’m probably wrong but I assume he asked Oli to do a remix while they chatted. Anyways, it’s the usual Progressive Trance style that Oliver is so good at. The first drop was delicious as it felt like it would be calm till he adds the crunchy electro bass a little later. The groove in this remix is so mesmerizing, you’ll have a hard time not dancing.
