Get Em Closer To You With Eko Zu

Get Em Closer To You With Eko Zu
Chad Hirsch

Music with unique characteristics is hard to come by in today’s world. Eko Zu however, has turned their view of electronic music into an entirely new perception. Originally I found this trio via SUBPAC‘s website. All you producers out there will know what that means. Plus they’ve got a sweet remix for Glitch Mob. ‘Get Em’ is their latest track which really expands your mind on what a dance tune is. I get an overall downtempo sort of vibe but the energy is very much uplifting at the same time. The way that the vocals are played with the phrase ‘Get em closer to you’ is also really great. I’m very much a fan of how many different ways they’ve been able to chop up and that phrase along with the different pitches. Eko Zu definitely knows what they’re doing and this is another great chapter on their journey.
