[TSS Premiere] Secret Frequency Crew Debuts Dark New Track “Quartz” Off Of ‘Escape’ EP

Secret Frequency Crew is not your average group and do not release your average everyday music. The group is amorphic and has only one permanent member, Adrian Michna. Michna has been in the scene for awhile now, forming Secret Frequency Crew in the 90s and has earned the praise from critics. Today Michna is back with a new Secret Frequency Crew release, this time going at the project solo. The Escape EP is available now for streaming with a highlight on the lead track “Quartz” from us at TSS.

“Quartz” is dark and melodic. It uses a single distorted note throughout the song with unique feedback loops and drum patterns coming into play about halfway through. The note and the drums then come back into play but this time together and the song then quickly wraps up. It is an ominous way to start out the EP and will have listeners wanting more.

You can check out “Quartz” and the whole EP now down below and through the Spotify link with the release coming from Waxploitation Records. Time will tell what the reception of the project will be but knowing Michna’s past acclaims we can predict this one will be ranked high up there among his other top projects.
