If you’re unfamiliar with Triple J Radio’s super cool “Like a Version” show it’s an awesome program that brings musicians from all over the world to their Sydney studio to perform covers across all spectrums of music. All the performances are absolutely breathtaking and the artists they regularly bring in are all scary talented. Flume’s “My Boo” performance was amazing, Just A Gent’s Kid Cudi remix as well, Cub Sport, the self proclaimed New-Dream-Death-Wave-Goth-Pop band, even covered “Ultralight Beam” by Kanye West to perfection, which is an incredibly tall task.

Today we got another awesome live remix from Slumberjack & K. Flay who take on M.I.A’s smash hit “Paper Planes”. This isn’t Slumberjacks first time on Triple J’s show, as they’ve also shown off a live version of their track “Afraid, Unafraid Ft. Sydnee Carter” that of course is great. “Paper Planes” was pretty much the most played song throughout my high school years and this cover completely knocked it out of the park. Slumberjack does a wonderful job on the beat and K. Flay’s voice is beautiful as always as she shines throughout the track. Check it out below.
