[TSS Premiere] Benzi & Wolfe Team Up On ‘Something Just Like This’ Remix

Hate ’em or love ’em, there’s no denying that The Chainsmokers collaboration with Coldplay, “Something Just Like This” is catchy as all hell. The original has been dominating radio airwaves for the past month or so, and now, thanks to Girl Trapz overlord Benzi and up-and-coming artist WOLFE, the track is back on my radar in newfound future bass glory. While Chris Martin’s beautiful vocals remain intact, the instrumental is completely changed up on this one to give it a whole new vibe. Chopped up and layered vocals on top of synth stabs give the song’s climax a definitive bounce to it, which pairs beautifully with the mellow breakdown where the vocals are brought back to the forefront. Grab the track below for free, be sure to check out T/W/R/K’s GIRLTRAPZ set at Coachella next weekend if you’re in the desert, and be on the lookout for #GIRLTRAPZ12 in May!
