Funky Craig Drops Heavy New Original “Wakizashi”

Funky Craig Drops Heavy New Original “Wakizashi”
Brian Poles

Hailing from the UK is Funky Craig and his slicing new original “Wakizashi” (a traditional Japanese sword). This one is a technical masterpiece using elements of jungle terror, bass house, and electro house. Throughout the song you hear a repeated vocal sample saying “got big bass” and he is not lying here. The drop hits you and you are blown back by the monstrous synth and bass. In the background you can hear deep bass house synths which add to the pounding nature of the song. The second drop cuts the heavy synth and hits you with it more often and at a faster pace, blowing you even further back. This song has banger written all over it and you can expect to hear it often over the coming months.

“Wakizashi” is out now via Mixmash’s One’s To Watch Records, this being Funky Craig’s third release on the imprint. This is probably his best tune out now through the label as it is just a menace and club-destroyer. You can grab this now as a free download and can check it out in full below. Let me warn you though to be prepared for what you are hear, it is a doozy.
