Just when you thought Kid Ink & Chris Brown’s hit radio single “Show Me” was getting played out, Chris Rishard, gives a conceptual trap-R&B re-do so good that it could mistaken for the original version. Let’s be honest, the original version of “Show Me” was specifically made for the typical white girl who swears she knows hip-hop yet listens to the radio as well as all those wildin’ club ratchets you see all dressed up outside the club. Chris Rishard on the other-hand, completely flips the beat and gives the lyrics a brand new meaning with a deeper wave of emotion. Creating a borderline trap hip-hop bedroom panty dropping heater that gives off a good enough vibe that’s show-able to any fan of music regardless of genre preference.

It’s certainly different from any other “trap” remix or original that’s been released the past year, which is exactly why I wanted to feature it. I read a tweet the other day how a friend of mine (who you would expect to be categorized in the hip-hop scene) understood the way dance music listeners feel when it comes to “EDM” because “you can feel that sh*t in your soul” just the same way as hip-hop (and any other music genre). So, in hopes of crossing the bridge between dance and hip-hop, Chris Rishard, gives something everyone can enjoy. Anyways, light it up, sip on, and add this one to the top of the sex playlist. Rishard, on the beat, hoe.
