I can not think of a better song to celebrate the launch of TSS 2.0 and reaching 24,000 fans on Facebook at the same time. If the site is looking strange to you, clear your browsing data and refresh the page a few times because we made a ton of changes! I’ve been waiting for some new Kid Cudi tracks for way too long, and FINALLY, Cudi drops the first single ‘Just What I Am’ featuring King Chip (aka Chip Tha Ripper) off his upcoming album Indicud. I’m beyond stoked that Kid Cudi has come back to rapping, and blazing, after hearing him begin to stray away with the release of his WZRD project. Kid mentioned a couple artists he’s working with on the new album when he dropped “features thus far, Kanye, Pusha, Jaden, Kendrick Lemar, Chip, Cage, got something for Hov I wanna play him, still gotta link w 50 and Banks” on Twitter. Enjoy!

Following up his hugely popular remix of The Beatles’ classic hit ‘Eleanor Rigby’, Houston-based Feature Cuts drops his second official single titled ‘Decisions’. I really enjoy watching Feature Cuts progress as an artist because a while back, he sent me a personal message letting me know that if it wasn’t for my support, he would have given up on his career as a musician, and look at him now! I’ve included a message that he left with the release of the track below. Enjoy!
I’m definitely in the midst of developing my own style. I have been ever since the beginning. It’s been a battle, is a battle, and will be a battle. I’ve entitled this release “Decisions,” to evoke the journey thus far in an audible format. Decisions are the hardest thing to make, yet they’re such an important part of our lives. For the things that I cannot put into words, I have music act as my spokesperson.

Logic’s manager over at Visionary Music Group hit me up this afternoon to announce the release of his brand new single entitled ‘My Chain’, produced by Visionary Music Group’s in-house producer 6ix. This record was inspired by Brotherhood Crusade. Logic is fresh off his first national headlining Visionary Music Group tour with Tayyib Ali which extremely successful, to the extent that Logic and fellow Visionary artist Tayyib Ali successfully sold out 20 of 25 shows in just 30 days. ‘My Chain’ is the first single Logic has dropped since coming off the release of his highly successful mixtape Young Sinatra: Undeniable this past April, which has surpassed 250,000 downloads to date. Enjoy!

As you probably already know, No Doubt has reunited, and their first welcome back project was a single called ‘Settle Down,’ coming on their brand new album Push and Shove. We already heard Major Lazer’s remix of the song featured last week here, but Baauer’s remix is hands down the better of the two. Thank god for Baauer. If you haven’t heard of him yet, check his Flosstradamus ‘Rollup’ remix and the rest of his bangers on his SoundCloud. If you find yourself listening to this one over and over, no worries, it’s bound to happen, I did it too. Hopefully we’ll have a download for you shortly.. Enjoy!

We featured Deadmau5′ latest free anthem ‘There Might Be Coffee’ when he dropped it back on July 30th, and the song was great, but was missing something to make it perfect. MILLERTIME knew exactly what this beautifully produced jam needed and added Eva Simmon’s lyrics from ‘I Don’t Like You’ combined with Erik Hecht’s lyrics from Dirty South & Those Usual Suspects collaboration ‘Walking Alone’, to create an even better version of this already-great anthem. Enjoy!

Following up Protohype’s hugely popular remix of 8-Ball’s ‘Immaculate Perception’ featuring Waka Flocka & Yelawolf, I have Liquid Stranger’s monster dubstep remix of Gorilla Zoe’s ‘Movie’, also coming off of Kosiina’s Dub Me Out Vol. 1 EP. Liquid Stranger laces together an erie electronic backdrop for Gorilla Zoe’s menacing lyrics before unleashing an onslaught of heavy bass after the massive build. Enjoy!

We might have featured this remix from Butch Clancy of Shirley Bassey’s classic hit ‘Diamonds Are Forever’ on the site way back in December of 2010, but Butch Clancy just re-released this beautifully dirty dubstep remix and it’s just as good as it was two years ago, so I decided to share it once again incase you missed it the first time around. Clancy wastes to time jumping into this remix with fascinating vocal samples fused with deep bursts of melancholy bass, followed suddenly by an intense build leading to a massive drop filled with sets of powerful, drilling synths. Turn up your speakers and enjoy!

Earlier this week, France-based producer Habstrakt released a remix of Koan Sound’s ‘Akira’ that they’ve been using to tear up their shows over the past couple months. Habstrakt fills Koan Sound’s monstrous original with sharp, erie melodies matched with a grinding, yet wobbly dubstep bassline to keep a funky vibe flowing throughout the whole track. Enjoy!

Dr. Ozi is a up-and-coming powerhouse bass duo from Toronto who we’ve featured a bunch of times over the past year in our weekly Filthy Friday compilation series. These two just sent me over their HEAVY dubstep remix of Justice Vs. Simian’s world-renowned hit ‘We Are Your Friends’. This one isn’t for the faint of heart, so if that’s you, skip the play button on this jam. Enjoy!

I don’t know much about Erotique besides the fact that he (or she) is a brand new producer who just released a massive dubstep remix of Revolvr’s BeatPort Top 10 hit ‘Who’s Gonna Save Us’ featuring Los Angeles lyricist Sue Cho. This new remix features insanely chopped vocal samples twisted with churning bass growls to serve as an erie backdrop for Sue Cho’s spine-chilling lyrics. Needless to say, this one spread through the rankings on Soundcloud like a wildfire. Enjoy!
