We are all one in a bass generation. At least that is what Major Look seems to believe in this thumping dancehall track remixed by Cutline. Cutline is a powerful dubstep act out of Bristol. The team is made up of childhood friends Dan Wilberforce and Jeryl Wilton. You may remember viewing one of their videos on the UKF Dubstep channel on YouTube. They uploaded this track six hours ago, sometime in the late afternoon UTC.
Major Look is a bass duo from London composed of Crystal Clear & Stapleton. Their new track “Bass Generation” featuring the Ragga Twins is set to drop on August 19th via London Records. To me it sounds like a modernized reggae version of a song made popular by the Who around fifty years ago now. I am referring of course to “My Generation,” another English song. You can pre-order the Bass Generation EP on iTunes here. The official video is already up on the UKF Drum and Bass channel and is closing in on 200K views.
Basically what we have here is the Bristol dubstep remix of some UK drum and bass.
