Kicks n Licks, the San Diego natives who brought us their groovy glitch-hop remix of Gangsta Fun’s ‘California’ coming off his California 2012 EP, are back again with yet another free release. Just a few short hours ago Kick n Licks dropped a tasteful bass-filled remix of JJAMZ’ hit ‘Heartbeat’, and as if JJAMZ’ vocals weren’t perfect enough, Kicks n Licks splices and tweaks them to fit the churning, lovestep-infused bass drops perfectly. Enjoy!

This week’s ThisMixSlaps Vol. 15 mix is brought to you from 1/2 of Back From The Future’s Cheyenne Giles. When he’s not playing and producing dubstep in the studio or at bass-head shows in the dungeons of Los Angeles and San Diego, you can catch him headlining some of the biggest nightclubs in the hearts of those same cities, but he’ll be playing lighter, more mainstream house music to keep the dance-floors jumping all night long. Cheyenne has been working on this incredible mix for some time now and has managed to pack bits and pieces of over 50 different electro-house anthems into one smooth-flowing 80-minute mixtape. Enjoy!

Earlier today, Atlanta-based Le Castle Vania released a brand new electro BANGER called ‘Play Loud’ for free through Always Never Records in exchange for the small price of a tweet or a post on Facebook. Le Castle Vania has been flying under the radar over the past few months because when he’s not touring, he’s locked up in the studio working on his forthcoming album. Here’s a note from the man himself:

Hey guys! I know it’s been a minute since I’ve released any new jams for you guys. I have been locked up in the studio working on my forth coming album in between being out on tour. That’s why i decided to sit down in the studio with the specific intent of creating a new song to give away for free as a thank you to all of my fans and supporters! Here’s what i came up with, a monster banger that I have titled (appropriately in my opinion) “PLAY LOUD”! As i said this release is 100% free for you guys all i ask as that you click the pay with a Tweet or Facebook post link below to help spread the word! After posting about the song you can download the song and put it on blast!

Remember most importantly don’t forget to PLAY LOUD!

Enjoy!

Las Vegas’ Justin Blau, better known as electro-house producer 3LAU, has just released his highly anticipated remix of Zedd’s recent anthem ‘Spectrum’ featuring lyrics from Matthew Koma. The production featured on this big room monster is second to none as it progresses into a frenzy of upbeat melodies while amplifying Matthew Koma’s mesmerizing lyrics. Also, if you missed 3LAU’s massive bootleg album from earlier this month, be sure to check out Dance Floor Filth 2 next. Until then, turn up your speakers and enjoy!

Major Lazer’s (now solely Diplo) banger ‘Get Free’ gets remixed by the Australian production duo, What So Not, made up of club-guy Emoh Instead and Future bass-er, Flume. By taking some of the best parts from the original and adding some real fresh production touches, What So Not has got a legendary remix on their hands without-a-doubt. This song was put up about 3 months ago but received an official download only recently. Such a sick track.. Enjoy!

“Milo & Otis is two dudes from Afratca. One is a professional fake book writer and the other is a leprechaun farmer who’s a gambler.” The duo has been featured on TSS countless times, with their bangers such as ‘Friendly City,’ ‘Siren,’ ‘Luck,’ and finally, ‘Wonderwall.’ All definitely worthy of checking out and downloading. Here’s their new, unoriginal trap remix to Yung Joc’s ‘Goin Down’ and its pretty tight.. Enjoy!
