Today, Krewella releases visuals for ‘Alive,’ a progressive house anthem from their debut EP, Play Hard, which was released on BeatPort last Monday. After capturing the #1 Release on Beatport last week and charting at #5 on Billboard’s “Next Big Sound”, the Krew is on a mission to share their EP with the world. While still keeping a solid footing in dubstep, the Chicago-based trio shows their music diversity with the release of this EP thanks to their evocative blend of powerful, vocals and smooth, yet heavy production. If you haven’t yet, be sure to pick up their Play Hard EP on BeatPort ASAP. Until then, kick back, turn up your speakers, and enjoy!

The powerhouse dubstep duo from up North, Zeds Dead, has caught our attention once again with a preview of their new remix of Colin Munroe’s ‘The Fight Of My Life’ featuring Pusha T. Although this captivating preview is only 2 minutes in length, it’s just enough to capture beautiful essence of Zeds Dead’s musical talent on their softer, more melodic side of bass music. This preview will have to hold you over until the official release next week, but if you missed their last free release, you can also check out their massive remix of The Electric’s ‘Toot Toot’ from last month. Enjoy!

Edmond Huszar, better known as Canadian electro-house producer OVERWERK has just let loose his electronic remix of J. Cole’s hit track ‘Work Out’. It seems like OVERWERK is drawn to any song with the word “work” in the title since this is the second “work” remix following up his popular remix of Hypercrush’s ‘Werk Me’. OVERWERK keeps the original hip hop feel intact while spicing it up with a fast-paced electronic bassline to turn this remix into a massive dance-floor anthem. Turn up your speakers and enjoy!

Atlanta’s quickly rising dubstep/electro/moombahton monster Popeksa just dropped his newest original production titled ‘Everybody’s Doing It’ to follow up his massive dubstep remix of Laura Brehm’s ‘Sunrise’ that he dropped earlier this month. This new original samples several hip hop artists, but more notably some of the lyrics and chorus from Dead Prez’ hit ‘Hip Hop’ to flow with his dubstep-infused electronic back drop. Ever since I came across Popeska back in January with ‘Firefly’, everything this 19-year-old kid has put out has been golden and an automatic download. Enjoy!
