The onslaught of tracks from Childish Gambino doesn’t stop as he releases 2 collaborations from his yet untitled mixtape. ‘Unnecessary’ features underground Harlem MC, Smoke DZA, as he and Gambino trade bars over a 808 bass heavy production reminiscent of the A$AP Rocky x Schoolboy Q collaboration ‘Brand New Guy’. On the track entitled ‘Silk Pillows’, Gambino enlists the talents of Beck, as he puts his heart on a track over a slowly progressing production that turns into complete mayhem about halfway through.
