As promised, here’s final product of Kidd Upstairs’ dubstep hip-hop mixtape titled The Step Tape exclusively presented by ThisSongSlaps.com. One of the things we pride ourselves on here at TSS is our collection of dubstep hip hop and trying to bridge the gap between the two genres. After seeing the positive reaction from the fans after dropping ‘Gone’ a few months back, Kidd decided to start this project and release it exclusively through TSS. We compiled a list of original productions and remixes that we thought fit well with his flow, and after several months of writing and recording, he’s finally ready to present this 9-track mixtape masterpiece.

The Step Tape is a sheer demonstration of Kidd’s lyrical dexterity behind the mic and proof that the gap between these two genres is slowly coming together.
