Is everyone excited for Filthy Friday? I know I am. I thought I would post something laid back this morning to balance things out. This awesomely chill track comes from a producer called Rook, who I’ve been following on SoundCloud since I first heard his excellent Tobacco Remix. Up until the last few days, he’s been quite an elusive character, only putting up tracks every once in a while (Not that I’m any better). He’s suddenly back in action again though, and the results so far have been really cool. This track has a really cool energy to it, simultaneously laying back and driving forward. Although I’ve never listened to Love in the Circus before, judging from the picture above, I would imagine that they’re pretty interesting. This track at least definitely lent itself to being remixed. Anyway, kick back, turn up your speakers, and get pumped for Filthy Friday later!

If you didn’t know, the UK monster behind the name Feed Me, formerly/still known as the DnB master Spor, has just released his newest project, an EP titled Feed Me’s Escape From Electric Mountain to follow up his debut EP Feed Me’s Big Adventure. Similar to his debut EP, Feed Me demonstrates his sheer musical dexterity throughout the album by including multiple genres such as dubstep, electro, and progressive house which only a seasoned producer could incite. Today I have the first song off the new EP titled ‘Trapdoor’ featuring menacing lyrics from Hadouken! Feed Me wastes no time letting you know what’s up by throwing this monstrous dubstep track in as the first song heard in the album. This guy is definitely a force to be reckoned with. If you haven’t already, be sure to support him by picking up the full EP on Beatport.com right here. Until then, kick back, turn up your speakers, and enjoy!

Do you like the show Workaholics? Have you ever wondered what it would sound like if their theme song was funked out with reggae-style hip hop lyrics, a groovy beat, and tons of heavy bass to top it off? Good, I wondered the same thing every day of my life until the Boston duo Pulse FX made this become reality with their new mashup combining Twist’s remix of Quartus Saul’s ‘Superheroes’ and Notixx’s remix of Skinny Boyz’ ‘Fresh’ to create ‘Superbad Workaholics.’ Gotta be fresh. Kick back, turn up your speakers, and enjoy!

Ever wonder what two Skrillex songs would sound like if they met up and decided to form one massive juggernaut of a song? Well, wonder no more. LOWD Noizez, a trio from Nevada consisting of three young producers named Nicholas Furlong, Logan Young, Scotty Banks decided to make this possible for us to hear by mashing Skrillex’s recent collaboration with the doors ‘Break’n A Sweat’ off his Bangarang EP and his original production titled ‘Right In’ to form one mashup rightfully titled ‘Break’n Right In.’ Turn up your speakers because this song slaps!

The quickly rising producer Nathan Merrill, better known as Eliminate, has been climbing up the blogosphere charts lately with his dubstep masterpieces such as his original production titled ‘Chasing Fire’ or his massive remix of The Dean’s Lists’ ‘Dear Professor.’ Today Eliminate is returning to TSS with his latest song titled ‘Everything You Need’ featuring lyrics from Kristin Accorsi. Eliminate really set the bar with ‘Everything You Need’ and now we know what to expect from this kid in the future; he’s definitely a producer to keep your eye on for 2012. Kick back, turn up your speakers, and enjoy!

For those who listened to Datsik’s UMF Radio Mix, you should definitely remember this track as one of the standouts without question. I was determined to find a full version of this song on the net, and last night I finally came across it, along with the rest of his one day old EP, Full Clip. Be sure to check out the rest of the EP, which also features tracks with DKS, Trampa, and Hizzleguy. This one has been on repeat in my library for a while now. Turn up those speaker’s and enjoy!

What do you get when you mix the ingenious lyrics from Childish Gambino’s hit ‘Heartbeat’ off his debut album Camp with Zedd’s epic new single ‘Slam The Door?’ Well, you get something called ‘Slam The Heartbeat’ from Styles&Complete, but other than that, you get something that will make the dance floors jump across the nation to something they’ve never heard before. The duo from Charlotte, NC created a mashup masterpiece that they like to categorize as “dirty south electro swag,” and I couldn’t agree more. I’m also throwing in a bonus track from this duo, a remix of Kid Sister’s new single ‘Hide & Seek’ featuring Riff Raff with enough bass to turn your speakers upside down. Kick back, turn up your speakers, and enjoy!

I’ve got another massive track coming from UK’s Quartus Saul, and this time it’s not a remix of his music coming from another artist, it’s an original production from the master himself titled ‘Tally Ho VIP’ which was a bonus track off his More Heros EP. ‘Tally Ho VIP’ leads off with pounding yet charming melodies to set the pace for this colossal production full of churning bass and layers of shaky synths that will rattle your body to its very core. Kick back, turn up your speakers, and enjoy!

Weird coincidence that I was just talking about Los Angeles producers in the last post; or was it? Tim Ismag (Timur Ismagilov) is coming all the way from Russia to get a piece of the Los Angeles action that Quatrus Saul created with his dubstep track rightfully titled ‘Los Angeles.’ Tim Ismag wastes no time setting the mood for this monstrous track with his erie cinematic intro to forewarn you of the massive atrocity of bass to follow. Turn up your speakers and enjoy!
