Rewind about 3 years and I’m sitting at my friend Brandon’s house listening to music and I ask him “hey what do you call that stuff you were playing earlier? It’s kinda slow and it.. wobbles.” So I listened to ‘Cockney Thug’ by Rusko and little did I know that it would begin a musical obsession that would last for years to come. As soon as the bass kicked in on this remix by Risot, I was catapulted back 3 years and heard that oh-so-familiar wobble that made me love dubstep in the first place. The Fairfield-based producer takes the already mellow stylings of Flobots and adds some bass on that will make you nostalgia everywhere. With only 143 “likes” on his Facebook, this will give all you hipsters out there another opportunity to tell people you found someone before they got huge because, mark my words, Risot is going to be big. So turn your speakers up to 11, press play, and get ready for some serious head nodding because this song SLAPS.

Krysism & E-VO are a brand new dubstep duo rising out of Dallas, Texas consisting of two young producers named Evan & Chris. A little while ago, these two shattered the glass and debuted on Soundcloud by dropping their massive dubstep remix of Treal Lee & Lil Wayne’s song ‘Throwed Off’ for free. Since then, these guys have been dropping bangers left and right and recently signed to Smashed Beatz Records and will be dropping their Who We Are EP in February. I’ve got a brand new remix of one of my favorite Childish Gambino (Donald Glover) songs to date titled ‘Bonfire,’ which was the first single coming off his debut album Camp released through Glassnote Records back in November. This remix is coming from Canadian dubstep / electro producer Coming in Static (Joash Christopher) who has been quietly making a name for himself over the past couple months. I’m stoked to announce that TYR, the 17-year-old Las Vegas dubstep producer who brought us his incredibly disgusting remix of Skrillex’s new hit ‘Kyoto,’ his massive remix of Avicii’s all-to-remixed tune ‘Levels,’ and his collaboration remix of Kid Cudi’s track ‘Soundtrack 2 My Life’ with CR^NKN last week is releasing a new tune exclusively through TSS today to build up hype for his debut album Hard Times which is dropping this Wednesday. The original song titled ‘Married to Molly’ was written by New York hip hop artist Gabriel Stark and featured kick-back vibe until TYR got his hands on it. TYR keeps the mellow vibe flowing with Gabriel’s voice but follows up with his always-heavy dubstep drops in-between verses.
