The Philadelphia dubstep producer Diplo has been keeping himself busy lately by coming out with a couple new collaboration tracks including ‘Amplifier’ with Skrillex, but who would have thought that he would team up with the Canadian dubstep producer Datsik? The end result of this new collaboration is something called ‘Pick Your Poison’ featuring Kay, which samples vocals from Lil Jon’ and a beat that will have your parties bouncing before an unexpected mess of filth is dropped upon them. This is one of my favorite Mac Miller track that he’s released so far, and the beat is too sick. I’m digging the laid-back, calm beat accompanied by the confident and relentless lyrics. Here’s Wiz Khalifa’s unreleased freestyle over Young Jeezy’s ‘Trapstar’ called ‘Prince Of The City,’ which was released around the same time as the three collaboration tracks with Big Sean and Curren$y last week. Wiz killed this beat, I wouldn’t have thought it was a freestyle if the title didn’t say it way. Usually you’ll see the rising UK dubstep mastermind known as Calvertron destroying tracks in our Filthy Friday series, but it’s too early in the week to wait for this one. Hoodie Allen is back at the top again with his new mixtape titled Leap Year following his debut mixtape Pep Rally, which was released last year. Hoodie excelled to the top at a fast pace due to all the hype propelling him behind his debut mixtape, which in-turn sent him touring all around the country during 2011. I’ve hand picked four of my favorite tracks off Leap Year for you to sample and I’ve also posted a download link for the whole mixtape above the back cover below. I thought that Pep Rally was a more explosive mixtape for Hoodie, and most of the songs had more energy than these, but I’m still really digging these tracks. What do you think? I heard this remix over this past weekend and has to post it for everyone. This is Cazzettes’s new dubstep / electro remix of Swedish House Mafia’s new anthem track, ‘Save The World.’ I’ve heard some other dubstep remixes of ‘Save The World,’ but this one is by far the best I’ve heard so far. Cazzette is the second project stemming from Ash Pournouri of At Night Management. The Cazzette duo consist of two Swedish guys named Alexander Björklund and Sebastian Furrer. I’m looking forward to more releases from them in the future because this song is sick! Turn up your speakers and enjoy!
