James Jacob aka ‘Jakwob’ has seen his promising music career take off in the last couple months. First starting to become well known through some major positive reception in the blog world for his bootleg of Ellie Goulding’s song ‘Starry Eyed.’ Hailing from the Midlands, Jakwob is a multi-instrumentalist who played in many bands through his teens starting with jazz then moving on to play death metal and folk music. This goes a long way to explaining his style, which mix genres combining elements of dub step, electro, ghetto-tech and break-beat to name a few. Today, I have Jakwob’s remix of Tiesto & Diplo’s song ‘C’mon (Catch ‘Em By Surprise)’ featuring Busta Rhymes on the rapping.
