It’s about that time again! Here’s The Daily Dose #3 bangin’ out your speakers whether you’re ready or not. Today’s dose is coming to you from a dubstep producer called Cottonmouth who resides in the English countryside, near Bristol. His dubstep tracks have dark, screaming basslines, sinister drum programming, and disturbing melodies which combine together to produce some filthy sounding beats. Starting out as a drum’n'bass producer at the young age of fourteen, he retired from the music biz a few years later; or so he thought. He has returned with a whole host of new tunes and ideas that are guaranteed to leave your ears wondering what hit them. This is his remix of the legendary rock band Metallica’s song titled ‘The Unforgiven.’ Turn up your speakers and get ready for ‘The Daily Dose!’

Whoa, it’s Thursday night already and the weekend is finally here. Here’s a track for you ladies and gentlemen out there who are getting ready to go out tonight. If you’re hosting any parties out there, be sure to slap this on your speakers to get the party cracking! Producer Tim Berg came out with his popular song ‘Alcoholic’ a couple months ago which was followed by a countless amount of remixes from well-known artists. After listening to most of the remixes, I picked Dada Life’s for the site. This track doesn’t waste any time letting you know what it’s all about straight from the beginning; RAGING. Put your dancing shoes on, turn up your speakers, and lets get this night started!

It’s the second day of the banger new series, The Daily Dose. It’s time to get up and get your day started so SLAP this on your speakers LOUD! Most of you really liked Crizzly’s dubstep remix of Willow Smith’s ‘Whip Your Hair’ that I posted a couple weeks ago. This morning I have his track ‘Big Booty Bitchezz’ that he remixed from the popular Big Booty Bitches YouTube video coming from ALostPeople. You should probably watch the video after you listen to the song if you’re in the mood for a good laugh haha. The synthesizer work Crizzly worked into this track is really amazing and the bass line is heavvvy. This track will definitely get you up and get your day moving. Turn up your speakers and enjoy The Daily Dose #2!

Pittsburg’s new hip hop sensation Mac Miller has just dropped this fresh new track called ‘Donald Trump’ off of his upcoming mixtape ‘Best Day Ever’ which is set to drop on March 11, 2011. He said that they’ve also shot a music video for this track that will also be released along with the mixtape in a couple weeks. I don’t know if Mac will take over the world, but he’s definitely taking the hip hop scene by storm with his smooth flowing tracks and cunning lyrical style. This kid has already jumped on tracks with some huge artists including Wiz Khalifa. As you can see from the picture, fans are linning up all over the place to see this kid perform and he definitely gives them their moneys worth. Sit back, turn up your speakers, and enjoy ‘Donald Trump.’

Everyone has heard about all the hype coming from this ‘new’ dubstep artist Feed Me who is also well-known drum’n'bass artist Spor. I’ve showcased a couple tracks on here from Feed me such as ‘Blood Red’ and ‘White Spirit’ which were released by on his debut EP ‘Feed Me’s Big Adventure’ by Deadmau5′ Mau5trap record label. This guy has incorporated so many styles of music into this EP that it is completely mind blowing. The songs range from filthy disgusting dubstep tracks to electronic dance music and beyond. Feed Me let this song, ‘Jodie’ go as a gift to us all before he released his debut EP. This track is full of deep bass lines complimented nicely by smooth uplifting melodies. Feed Me is rising to the top and establishing himself as another talented artist who is bringing forth filthy dubstep to the mainstream crowd. Turn up your speakers and enjoy ‘Jodie!’

I’ve decided to take my ideas from SlapADDICT.COM and just bring them to TSS because I like it here! Here’s the very first of my series, The Daily Dose. This daily series is a song intended to start your day off right with your fix of good music that can keep you going all day. This series will typically be HEAVY on the BASS and WOBBLES for those of you out there that are addicted to SLAPS. Today’s daily dose is a remix of Professor Green’s song ‘Monster’ coming from Camo & Krooked. Reinhard Rietsch aka CAMO and up-and-coming producer Markus Wagner aka KROOKED, both started producing in 2002 and teamed up in 2007. Nobody could have guessed what impact their collaboration will have on the music scene. They’re known mostly for their drum’n'bass productions, but this lyrical dubstep remix sends chills down my spine as they drop heavy wobbles in my ears. This track reminds me of High Rankin’s dubstep remix of Professor Green’s song ‘Jungle’. Turn up your bass and enjoy The Daily Dose!

Temabes sent me one of his new tracks yesterday but after listening to all of them, I picked my favorite three. This kid is really young and he’s coming out of Moskva, Russia. I know most of you, like me, are tired of hearing Far East Movement’s ‘Fly Like A G6′ because the radio has completely played it out. However, Temabes has completely given the all too familiar track new light with a sick new beat. This is the best remix I’ve heard of this song until now and I’ve heard a handful of remixes. If you don’t believe me, wait til the beat drops at 1:00. The second two tracks, Move Around and Biotok, are his original electro remixes. I’m not sure which one I like more between the two so I’ll let you be the judge of that. Temabes’ new EP, Biotok, is getting ready to drop on BeatPort.com February 11th so be sure to grab that. If you like these tracks, also make sure to “like” Temabes on Facebook at the bottom of the post. Turn up your speakers and enjoy!

‘Take Me Away’ is a really chill hip hop track that was sent to me yesterday by Sherif of Fortune Family. Hailing from the suburbs of Philadelphia, Fortune Family, is a hard-hitting duo made up of Hobson & Reef, who drop tracks fit for parties and protests. They pride themselves on being able to fuse different genres, whether indie rock or ’70s jazz, into contemporary hip hop. Their most recent mixtape, D.R.S. made way in the college blogosphere, gaining the Fam enough hype to land opening slots for Wale, Mac Miller and Hoodie Allen. Be sure to look out for FF on a campus near you and follow them at @FortuneFamily. If you like this track, also be sure to “Like” Fortune Family on Facebook at the bottom of this post and watch out for their new EP, Paradox, coming out soon. Turn up your speakers and enjoy!

The Glitch Mob let this new BANGER remix of White Stripes’ song ‘Seven Nation Army’ go for free earlier today. For their upcoming 2011 Tour, they are setting aside an allotment of discounted tickets for Mobsters, as well as exclusive music, early show announcements, advance access to music releases, limited edition merch, ticket giveaways, and any other perks they can pass along to their fans. In the meantime, click here for your Spring Fix of shows including 2011 Ultra Music festival. If you can’t make Ultra, The Glitch Mob is going to be performing at the Radius Festival here in San Diego at Aerospace in Balboa Park along with Datsik and Zeds Dead on March 5th, so be sure to buy tickets for that right here. “Like” the Radius Festival on Facebook here for updates and notifications. Turn up the bass in your speakers and enjoy!

Unfortunately, the White Stripes would like to announce that February 2nd, 2011, their band has officially ended and will make no further new recordings or perform live. Both Meg and Jack hope this decision isn’t met with sorrow by their fans but that it is seen as a positive move done out of respect for the art and music that the band has created.

“The White Stripes do not belong to Meg and Jack anymore. The White Stripes belong to you now and you can do with it whatever you want. The beauty of art and music is that it can last forever if people want it to. Thank you for sharing this experience. Your involvement will never be lost on us and we are truly grateful.”

Think of this as The Glitch Mob’s tribute to The White Stripes.
