Chromeo is a duo composed of P-Thugg aka Patrick Gemayel on keyboards, synthesizers, and talk box, and Dave 1 aka David Macklovitch on guitar and lead vocals. The two childhood friends jokingly describe themselves as “the only successful Arab/Jewish partnership since the dawn of human culture” haha. Oliver remixed Chromeo’s hit song ‘Hot Mess’ into a dance floor bomb that could definitely get some partys moving with its minimal yet funky style. You may separately know the names Vaughn “U-Tern” Oliver and Oliver “Oligee” Goldstein, but now you can know them as one duo, simply known as Oliver because both of them have Oliver in their names. Duck Sauce remixed this track awhile back, but I think Oliver’s tops it with their level of funk. Turn up your speakers and enjoy!
